The Redmi Note 8 2021 will be released soon to celebrate the sale of 25 million units of the original Note 8, and it was recently revealed that the Note 8 2021 will feature a waterdrop notch display that will measure 6.3″ diagonally.

Design

The official preprocess of the upcoming phone has also been released by Xiaomi’s Redmi. The phone has a waterdrop notch on the front, as seen in the photo. The bezels around the display can also be seen. The render confirms that the phone will be available in blue. It also reveals that the phone will have a SIM card slot on the left edge. The volume and power buttons are located on the right edge of the phone, according to GSMArena. The remaining three camera sensors haven’t been identified. The sensor on the original device is a quad 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP sensor. A fingerprint sensor can also be found on the back of the phone. The 2021 edition of the smartphone looks identical to the original offering in terms of design. According to current information, the main difference is the addition of a new chipset and fast 22.5W fast charging. It’s a small change over the original device.

The Note 8 2021 appears to be similar to the original Note 8 from 2019, with leaked and official information indicating that the new Note 8 will be a Note 8 2019 with Helio G85 SoC and 22.5W charging.
